High-Rise Apartment Glazing for a Luxury Tower in Bhilai

22-floor luxury residential tower in Bhilai, Chhattisgarh — 312 apartments fitted with GRETO Elite heavy-duty sliding windows and tempered laminated glass balcony railings, engineered for 2.8 kPa wind load.

The Brief

A premium high-rise across the road from a steel-plant boundary needed glazing that would tolerate dust, monsoon-driven rain, and high wind loads at the upper floors — without compromising the slim modern aesthetic the developer wanted to advertise.

The Solution

GRETO Elite was specified for living-room sliding doors thanks to its 41 mm frame height and roller capacity up to 250 kg. Bedrooms used GRETO Vista for slimmer sightlines on the protected facade. All balconies received tempered laminated glass railings.

Outcome

Wind-load testing on the 18th floor cleared 2.8 kPa with zero deflection beyond the manufacturer’s spec. Dust ingress through the seal stack measured negligible after a Raipur-Bhilai summer. Sales velocity for the upper floors picked up notably after the show flat opened with the new glazing in place.
